Gentlemen are once again, after along respite, returning to the decadent practice of donning jewellery.

This is partly due to the rise of hip-hop culture. Wide rings of black and white diamonds and medallions are hip to match.

Cufflinks are also trendy for gents to wear, but no longer the plain gold items of the past but rather bold statement stones in various colours and cuts mainly fashioned in white metals such as platinum, palladium, white gold and silver.

The precious metal of the day for gents jewellery is palladium, of the platinum family with the same durable qualities but half the price and half the density allowing for the manufacture of larger pieces with greater wearer comfort.
